Virtues of Surat Al Fatiha
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Allah Almighty said: I have divided prayer between Myself and My servant into two halves, and My servant shall have what he has asked for, When the servant says: {[All] Praise is [due] to Allah, the Lord of the worlds}, Allah Almighty says: My servant has praised Me, And when he says: {The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful}, Allah Almighty says: My servant has extolled Me, And when he says: {Sovereign of the Day of Recompense}, Allah Almighty says: My servant has glorified Me -And He says in another time: My servant entrusted his affairs to Me- And when he says: {It is You we worship, and You we ask for help}, He says: This is between Me and My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for, And when he says: {Guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom You have blessed; not of those who have evoked [Your] anger, or of those who are astray}, He says: 'This is for My servant, and My servant shall have what he has asked for." [Authentic hadith] - [Narrated by Muslim].
On the authority of Ubayy ibn Ka’b he said: God said: “O son of Adam, I have revealed to you seven verses, three of them are for Me, and three of them are for you, and one is between Me and you: {[All] Praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, Sovereign of the Day of Recompense} This is for Allah, {It is You we worship, and You we ask for help}, This is between Allah and the son of Adam, {Guide us to the straight path, the path of those upon whom You have blessed, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger, or of those who are astray}. This is for the son of Adam.”.
